Gleetchlab - anyone?

Postby Steviant » Tue Jun 03, 2008 7:03 pm

www.gleetchplug.com

I stumbled across this program a few months ago in class, thought 'Wow, thats pretty cool' and then promptly forgot about it. I've just downloaded it today, and flicking through the user manual it seems like a really awesome tool for breakcore, if used in the right way. It's primarily designed for Glitch (hence the name), but as breakcore is all about twisting tools to the users own purpose (or, at least, thats my interpretation :D), it's Neural and Threshbass plugins seem to be quite interesting tools.

Has anyone played with it? Whats your opinion on it as a tool?

(Also on the Gleetchplug website is OM, which is a rather nifty generative ambient music player. You just press 'ON' and it makes nice background noises. Perfect for when you want something to relax to and your ears to stop bleeding :D)

Is this still Mac only? I've checked it a few times and have always been disappointed (PC only here)

EDIT: Yep, still Mac only (disappointment setting in yet again) :(
