HELP! TEACH ME

hey guys! i wanted to know how to do some breakcore beats using ableton live.. thanks :D

listen to too much jungle for years and years and years.
gain an understanding of what sounds good.
cut amens into single beats.
arrange according to own taste.
experiment.
remember remarc is king of the amen and that you will never be as good as him.

Download some nice Breaks Loops. Drop 'em into an audio track and chop up sections you like and some single hits Then start arranging these sample to make new loops, try filtering and saturating hits, reversing them, using delay and reverb etc... listen to some Jungle and Breakcore tracks for compositional inspiration.

You can then try -

To fill out the sound try creating a ghost track with a Low pass filter with low cut off and some saturation... might make all the difference to the "body" of the beats.

Also, a good little trick is to dump a Snare or Kick into simpler and messing around with the cut off and sample length dials for so evil sounds and glitch...
