May I ask why you think FL7 is better than 8? I am honestly curious, as I FL is my DAW of choice as well.. I used to have 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 all installed on this system but I recently got rid of all my stuff in 4, 5 and 6 to make room, lol... I still have all my crap for 7 though.
I really really like the track btw! I would personally replaced sytrus with like edirol orchestral or something for a brass sound, but if we're gonna be sharing FL files I can see why sytrus would be the way to go. (or maybe that's just how it should sound to you.) But either way, the breaks are absolutely KILLER! One thing for me is I think the reverb on the break channel muddys it up a bit, but turning the mix level down to like 60% still gives it the girth and sound of the reverb but with less mud to the snap. BTW the last 20 seconds makes sense to me? I dunno, maybe i'm just weird.. I really like where it sounds like it's going right at the end too. Good shit dude.
Thanks for the tramen sample btw, this one sounds nice. :p
I will be back in a bit to post a file... I woke up this morning with the urge to start a brand new track as I'm growing tired of all the shit I'm working on for my next release.. so I think I'm gonna go do that and bring back the file to post.

I find 7 better mostly because for some reason i get a much and i mean much higher cpu usage for some reason.
I still have 8 installed though, but not planning on using it any time soon, although i have some sickass unfinished projects in it.(cant finish them because to many effects and sucky cpu etc)
Thanks for the advice too, i'm definatly gonna kick the reveerb down a notch, i guess i cant tell really because i have somewhat shitty speakers.
I sometimes have that urge to produce too, i love it

Well, there's a great advantage to having shitty speakers.. you know how it's gonna sound on shitty speakers! And if it sounds good on shitty speakers, chances are it'll sound good on even better ones, lol.. I have shitty speakers too but I mix on some Bose tri-port headphones my father bought me a long time ago so he didn't have to listen to my pounding bass all night. (Back when I still had to worry about that!) They make me catch a lot of tiny detail things that you don't usually with regular speakers.
Hmmm, and weird man.. I was having more CPU problems under FL 7 than I am 8 to be honest.. but I dunno, too many tiny tiny convenience things I would miss from 8 that 7 doesn't do. But it's whatever works, lol.
So I was just fucking around with the track in FL7.. and this is what happened.. lol

edit: I forgot to mention.. I added two more free VSTs, the Classic Chorus *(same line as the Classic Compressor) and the Distroyr by Atom Splitter, available here - http://www.atomsplitteraudio.com/info.php?id=11

Lol, funny, heheh, we have totally different styles in making the songs, was real fun though to hear what you did with it.
Love it that you sometimes let the next pattern fall in between it, i can learn from that, although i would not be temped to take over your style of making a song, really makes my mind hurt , that probably lies just in getting used to it and whatnot, but diggin it nontheless.

Hehe yea, thanks, it was fun to mess about with the track. I might doodle more with it later and master it and throw it up here, who knows!
My musical background is classical, I played the Tuba in a concert jazz band so the first thing I ever knew was sheet music. Arranging my songs like this in the clip section makes it so I can see every hit that's being played and I can better visualize the flow of the song. Also I really enjoy making a pattern and then chopping up the pattern even more to make new more interesting variations, and I did that quite a bit in that track as you can see.. I never did get around to starting a new track, but maybe by tonight I can finally sit down and do that.. lol
