im a noob yes indeed, but yay or nay on the fruity loops and whats the best live set up for an affordable price? and basic functions of the hardware you would need LOL

A yes on Fruity Loops if you are planning on making music, a no if you are wanting to do improv live sets.

ableton probably best for playing live, fruity loops looks pretty awesome these days but not so much for the live front, your gonna want a midicontroller as well like maybe an m-audio xsession pro or a faderfox or anything with loads of faders, rotary knobs and buttons really.
fit pressure sensors all over yr body then take the meth get naked and fling yr twitching self into the crowd and start fighting - have the sensors hooked up to ableton triggering clips - everytime you get punched a new clip fires off and breakcore excellence follows
