Socially acceptable Breakcore Tracks

Postby Shui » Thu Sep 06, 2012 10:14 am

I love how this song brings breakcore nearer to my sister, which is quite a tool with no musical taste whatsoever.
Renard - can't stop loving you

Do you happen to know any other breakcore songs that are being accepted by people with usually mainstream taste?

Venetian Snares is also quite like accepted by some people, aslong as you only play them the more orchestral tracks.

I've had people in my car whom i've assumed wouldn't like the rough noisy fuck you music i generally like... And in me only having 6 cds in my player, i would try and choose something that would be 'tolerable' out of my selection of music that i could play with this company in my car.
Its funny cause even tho i thought i was choosing something semi normal for them, it always turns out that my 'normal music' is still too 'out there' for people who claim to be 'open' about music.

I dont care who likes breakcore... I just dont want to hear it in mainstream either. Never will.

I've shown some people who have never really listened to Breakcore, let alone dance music, and from what I've done so far, everyone either likes Fucking Hostile or Botch Up and Die, but they also tend to be the people that listen to stuff like Grindcore and Fast shit like that. So if Metalheads count as "Normal people" then yeah, this has some kind of appeal.

The only breakcore tracks which are socially acceptable have some sort of LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL moment, a band sampled or is a piece of music that's actually drum and bass.

Don't mean to break your heart, but Renard is not breakcore. at best it's like Happy Breakcore, i think of it as Furrycore. dude prolly makes a nice buck off his music, but it's the pinnacle of what i dislike about breakcore. mashups, just not my cup of tits.
