I Hate Breakcore

what would you concider a breakcore drug?

Whats your fave drug?

What drug inspires you when producing music?

I think breakcore has some what of a SPEED mentality mixed with a drunken style but im most inspired when im on acid. However the only drug i can manage to make music on is pot but I like to be drunk when playing live or working with hardware.

Not a day goes by where i dont smoke weed so sober is not an option for me! Thank god!!

I don't think breakcore and drugs mix very well.

My favourite drugs are psilocybin and diazepam.

I only make music while sober. If I make music while drunk or high, it ends up sounding like shit.

il like to make loops and samples and melodys etc when ive been smoking weed but i never make full tracks when stoned

i prefer to be sober when making a full track

as to going to gigs ive taken mdma/x/coke loadsa time when at hardcore/breakcore/speedcore shows but it all gets a bit too much to handle and i ussualy have togo outside and smoke a cig

I likke to work when I have Insomia....(and thats a lot these days) The best drug is Alcohol+weed+Coffee. Alcohol makes jou drunk, Coffee gives a mental boost and weed makes jou more focust on smal tings.
But the best thing is stil Alcohol. xtc is to distracting....Musrooms are also a bad idea...and I never just Coke or Speed (Lost some old friends on Speed)

I did speed and xtc maybe 6-7 years straight or something, really fucked me up, lol. Had a good time though.

Lsd/shrooms maybe once a year or something now, nice to have a little trip sometimes with buddy's. :shock:

Shrooms i used to did a lot, lsd maybe once.

Agree, mind never the same.

On shrooms had like maybe 1 bad trip, rest was fucking funny.

Acid or 2CB are great for listening but any time I have tried to make anything on psychedelics I just ended up listening to a super slow flanger forever.

Auechre said they like to write music on hardware while siting down and drinking, once they have a composition then they stand up all drunk and finish the other half of the track. This makes alot of sense because alo of there songs have two halfs rather then a course verse thing.

Writing tracks up uppers like speed and coke is cool.

i def like to sit down with some beers... not get wasted tho (during the writing)
love a good ass buzz when playing live tho.. gotta keep the beers coming..
i save the weed for the break in creation where i go outside with my ipod or sit in my car to listen to how i've progressed..
Fetus is right about the weed helping with the intricate tasks...

im taking a month off drinking.
trying to cut down on coffee and drink more green tea.
weed is always good in small amounts.
MDMA is great for partying, but makes me drink too much.
Psychedelics are good, but only when the environment is appropriate.
Coke is for girls.

I make music in a heightened state of arousal. nothing i've produced while intoxicated has ever come close to my sober work.
