not sure if they have been mentioned yet but, Atmosphere is pretty good. They are WAY better then any of the rappers out there today. They have real stories behind their songs, it's not just the words "Bitches, money, hoes, kill, gun, jail" over and over again.

Fever are pretty amazing, I got hold of this cd recently off DHR, if you're a fan of Company Flow this is a good alternative. They did some MIDI war tape too as I am told by discogs, I'll have to seek this out too.

I don't really know much about hip hop but I do like The Last Emperor album. Tis pretty straightforward stuff but it's got a really nice vibe. I wanna use some old skool hip hop kinda producer style in some beginners break core meanderings, any suggestions for samples to use? PS I love the rock the bells sample used by producer if that gives you an idea what I'm after.

Am I the only one here who's into Outkast? And mid 90's G-funk is full of classics, dre, snoop, etc. I don't listen to much current hiphop, I just havent bothered digging to find the good underground stuff.

I wouldn't say Suicidal Rap Orgy counts as "good hip hop"! Funny though.
