DIY Breakcore with headphones - odd but it kinda works.

You need:
Pair of over-ear headphones (those big chunky ones)
An over-active imagination. (It's ESSENTIAL)
I don't know why I came across this, but it happened either way.
What you need to do is put those headphones on. If you tap on the top side of one of the earphones, you can get a nice bass kick sound. Tap on the bottom and you get a more distorted kick. Use the tips of your fingernails to tap for the more treble-y sounds. Take your thumb, index and middle finger and put them together, scratch that across the 'face' and you get a satisfying squonk. If you're good, you can scratch the outer face and the soft foam protector to get a nice laser sound.

I so can relate to Headphone Breakcore.
Try getting two PC Home Computers and press 1-2-0 on one and get an error message in the other and press any keys. You will get a metronome and a one-note beat keyboard!

haha. i've been tapping out breakcore rhythms with my fingers since i was about 11 ...annoys the shit out of everyone but i'm pretty good at it now.
i quite like leaning on a door frame and doing it, if you thump the doorframe with your fist you get a really nice sub bass kick sound :p
