Damage catalog?

I'm looking to score the entire Damage catalog. 1 through 6 are out of print and no longer available, but 7, 8 and 9 are still available.

If anyone can either point me in the right direction to finding them, or just want to get them off your hands, let me know.

although i know the shipping on that for one record might be pretty pricey to the U.S. they say it's their "last copy", so might want to grab it while you can...

i might have some double [maybe even triples] of some of those i'd be willing to part with for the right kind of incentive, although i'd have to double check which ones, cause i know that i wouldn't part with some of them...

lol, well the place is a bit spoty...



the only reason i say that is b/c those are some of my favorite records. that's why i have multiple copies. i never really thought about parting with them, cause i've always used them when i would DJ more. although since i know i do have multiple copies and have been focusing more on producing/playing live, there is no real need to have triples of a record. i could part with some of them, but i don't know which ones i do have triples of, i gotta double check. i would rather someone have them that could give them a good home, play them out and really appreciate what their worth. although please, don't get your hopes up, cause i know i don't have multiples of every record in the catalog, but i've always looked out for those to make sure i had copies in case, others got fucked up or warped etc...

buuuuuut, yah i'll def let you know this week which ones i got and if your serious, you can make me an offer and also we could talk more about that including you to come out here to play [for free??]...

well, they would go to a good home for sure. anything off peaceoff/damage and sub-labels are gems as far as I'm concerned... hell, I'm pretty sure there isn't one tune I dont like from rotator.

In fact, I mainly want them for archival purposes and they'd only get thrown on the turntables during special occasions... I actually do most of my mixes with mp3 so I'd rip the tune and the record would get put away.

re: free... I'd do that anyway, even if there wasn't records involved. I used to want to play the koncrete jungle and direct drive parties when I was more into standard dnb, but since I've been more on the BC tip over teh past couple years I wanna play Barcore. Just need to play an NYC party before I stop doing this shit... all I'd ask really is for free drinks

yah man. we've talked about having a spot for you guys come out. i know we've talked to you about it too. we really like focusing more on people in the U.S. whose are into the things that we know people here are about. it's just a hard "market" [fuck i hate thinking in those terms] to deal with, but we are doing what we can here in NYC for the type of stuff we like...

we got a lot going on behind the scenes, that will hopefully make barcore a little easier to manage and have more often. since it's been an uphill battle trying to secure a venue we like and can really be comfortable working with, it's just slowed the number of events down, but we are working to have some really good upcoming events that hopefully people will really come out and support, cause it's pretty critical to have people come out...

the one thing that kills most "scenes" is the lack of interaction. that's the one thing i've hated about people's mindsets. if you see something that is happening that is remotely interesting and/or involved with something that you find interesting and/or hope to be involved with [or just want to check it out, out of curiosity], you have to make the effort to be there and take part...

i hate when people sit online all day talking bullshit all day about things, acting like they know it all, cause the size of their mp3 collection [not you hue, i'm sure you know what i mean], take every chance to criticize others who actually make an effort to put themselves and what they love to do out into the proverbial shit storm that is the mass opinion, when we could actually all be out somewhere banging out some serious sound system pressure and not giving a fuck about what fucking "scene" it is, or "who is going" [is it just me or does anyone fucking hate those myspace event things? i can't stand these fucking wastes of effort, so what? you can see "who's going" what a fucking bunch of social "hot spot" hyping BULLSHIT!], but that we are all there just to have a GOOD FUCKING TIME!!!

and yah man. as far as coming out here. let me know [with as much advance notice as possible], when you would be thinking of coming through. hopefully everything can work out and we can get you on something coming up. the year is looking kind of booked maybe up to summer, but things aren't set in stone. so we'll see what we can do...

I hear you on the venue thing. I've been wanting to get at least a monthly going here in tx, but either a) noone wants to help or b) venues are just not interested. people out here claim to be into different shit, but when different shit happens, people run the other way. any sort of breakcore, or what people think it is out here, is very small and limited. but afterall, it is an aquired taste, not aquired by most people. personally, I try to describe it to venue owners as break-centric... dubstep, breaks, dnb/jungle, breakcore... so they at least feel like there will be some variety... either way, that hasn't worked either... I might just have to start breaking into warehouses or something.

I'm not sure what to do about it other then just use my radio station as an outlet. Which has seemed to work a little.
