Looking to do some basic flash editing. Any tips on progs for simple functions such as button text editing, background colors, banners yada yada yada?

Well when it comes to flesh eating, I prefer to bbq the flesh first, medium rare, preferably with a hickory smoke bbq sauce. I tend to like Bullseye brand.

.... oh wait you said Flash Editing... not Flesh Eating....

.... well that changes things entirely. I'd suggest hopping over to youtube and typing in "flash tutorial"

... I should point out that if you're trying to change a compiled flash program that you found on the net, (.SWF) you're pretty much out of luck.

I've had success using a program called Flasm.

very low level stuff though.

short answer.................Google

long (and more helpful answer) go grab a copy of adobe flash from your favorite torrent search engine, THEN go to google and just hit "adobe flash tutorials"

should give you just about everything you need

Flash is usually bundled these days. Keep an eye out for Creative Suite... 3 is out now and available via torrent.

Best thing about the suite is you'll get InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator too... and maybe Dreamweaver.

Oh, and yeah, once you have Flash, there's usually decent totorials in the program or yeah, google them and the net will help plenty.
