My mother's a singer and my dad used to be a DJ, so they're pretty open-minded. Sometimes my dad will be listening to his dad-rock and he'll be like, "maybe you could use this in one of your tracks". Bless his cotton socks.

hahaha

I'd've 'magined you came from a propper paddy cap, hurls and trad backround. I really gotta stop thinkin of here as the developing world.

My mother is an abstract mixed media artist, and she loves breakcore. I know when I write a good track when she actually likes it, but It has to be melodic

My kids like the breakcore, but there has to be a defined rythm. prefferably gabba-style. My daughter likes drumcorps but doesent get eustachian, she's only six though. My son is more into the 8-bit/chip-core scene. Guess it has something with the clear melodies and such. He's four.

I wonder what my kids are going to listen to when they are teenager, and I know I will have to suffer it through it it is something out of the mainstream. But who knows, maybe the'll be minstreaming it in their teens?

give this to yer son when he turns 12

commercial hearing aids apparently have super loud high freqs, and since my mom wears one she cant be around any cores. but she likes aphex twins softer, noiseless compositions. i don't talk to my dad and i haven't gotten around to haivinhg the whole 'breakcore' talk with him. none of the rents have ever heard anything i've made.

When I still lived at home sometimes the door would open and a surprised head would come around... usually when playing some mashup stuff.

On the other hand, when I would make noise the reactions are usually not that positive. Done a more soft drony jam with my dad one day.

My grandma sometimes came sitting next to me when she visited, no matter what music I was listening to. Really, she didn't mind it at all. That's what you get after 8 kids of which most we're guys with guitars :').

I don't think my parents even know what breakcore is.
