just purchased a 12" LP that I am very impressed with, now the intarwebs has been a buzz with the idea that the tuss is in fact Richard D. James. I so far agree with them, whats your opinion.

I've heard that rumour. I also heard one that warp records just released that rumour to drum up hype for their new release (which is actually just by a cornish man), a form of viral marketing if you will.

They did simlar when they had an online chat with an artist (might have been squarepusher, my memory is hazy), they dropped the webserver half way through just so everyone would go back to their forums and start threads.

I bought the CD ages ago & really liked track 4. I heard it was Aphex Twin as well but when i checked it comes up as being a guy called Brian & a lady called Karen.

I've checked through Richard's aliases too & the Tuss isn't one of them.

. Brian/Karen do not exist. To be honest I don't want to argue about this cos that's the whole point behind the alias/secrecy/marketing ploy in the first place.

Seriously though, if you have been listening to RDJ over the years then you should be able to hear that this is him. It's practically been confirmed all over the web, although track 4 sounds more like daft punk
