!!!FROM HARD & FAST...TO HEAVY & UNHOLY!!!

Image

Back to end the year with a healthy dose of hellacious audio mayhem, Barcore continues to celebrate the intense clash of culture, technology and music. Ravenous rhythmic cataclysms collide and explode into near speed blinding sonic over load that not only warps minds, but also shatters the soul. Aural dominance substantiating through sound walls that leave all witnesses in biosystematic frenzy. Come, feel the fire forged beats hammer through mental limits of innocence and are pushed beyond spiritual chaos, when the heaviest of sound demons descend into New York City. The struggle for vindication continues, as Barcore invites all souls of all ages, to come and push their own conscious threshold. It is here and now, where we all will hear the firestorm of industrialized beats and rhythmic re-evolution...

FEATURING EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCES FROM:

[Chicago, IL]
Devil Times Nine | Industrial Strength Records | ADAM Worldwide | Psychotik Records | Tiny Management

Welcome to Hell, as Barcore proudly presents another long time legend of the underground hardcore scene, the infamous...Delta 9! Unleashing devastating audio destruction since the early 90's. Delta 9 first started releasing his music on Drop Bass Network and soon after started working with Industrial Strength Records, which quickly gained him worldwide recognition. A veteran producer and seasoned DJ of all things "hard as nails", Delta 9 is one of the most revered names in hardcore techno, speedcore and noise. While playing all over the U.S., at massive raves or underground warehouse parties, in the early 90's, Delta 9 has also been invited time and time again, to play at some of the biggest events in Europe and all over the world. Considered by many to be one of the real innovators of hardcore techno in the U.S., Delta 9 is responsible for a multitude of classic tracks, has over 40 solo 12 inch releases and has appeared on over 200 compilations including the Thunderdome series, Hellraiser, Third Movement's Demolition, the Mysteryland series, the Masters of Hardcore compilations, and many more. He has also done remixes for such bands as Napalm Death, Corrosion of Conformity, Soil and recently for speedcore monsters The Berzerker. 2008 has now seen the launch of his new label, Devil Times Nine, which shows Delta 9's commitment to releasing quality hardcore and speedcore, bred in the streets of Chicago. Do not miss out this rare appearance from one the the U.S.'s most sought after hardcore DJ legends, as Delta 9 is bringing Hell in a hand basket and making sure to bless all bloody ears at Barcore in New York City. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here, this is hardcore the, way it was and always is, meant to be. Hard, loud, fast and straight up evil...

[Berlin, Germany]
Man Alive | Cock Rock Disco | Death$ucker Records | Ad Noiseam

Once again, we are honored to bring back the phenomenon that has been grown in Boston, hardened in the NYC pressure cooker, and engineered in Berlin, Drumcorps [aka Aaron Spectre] is a one man sonic tour de force that has undisputedly become one of the most unique independent producers blowing up the underground scene today. Tearing up some of the biggest electronic festivals and playing from Japan, to Lebannon, Mexico, all over Europe, Drumcorps delivers a wild blend of live guitar work, blistering gritty drum n bass, frantic breakcore, all rooted in a DIY driven punk aesthetic. With numerous vinyl releases under his belt, as well as putting out albums for both of his projects, Drumcorps has been taking the music world by storm. In 2007 the Drumcorps album "Grist" won an honor of distinction at Austria's Ars Electronica, a yearly prize whose past winners include Aphex Twin, Chris Cunningham, Peter Gabriel, Sunn ((O))), Plastikman and Gescom. Drumcorps was also recently approached by metal machine Animosity to do a remix EP, which was recently released on special 10" vinyl by Man Alive and also available for free digitally via a creative commons license [check the Drumcorps Myspace page]. A prime example of the changing face and sound of modern music, Drumcorps is a freight train of insane broken beat belligerence, that leaves all the walls falling, minds melting and begging for more. If you have not heard and seen this badman in action, you are seriously missing out on some of the most innovative ideas being applied to music today. Sought after worldwide, there is no mistaking the sound and presence that is Drumcorps...

Cock Rock Disco | Tigerbeat6 | Mutant Sniper | Murder Channel Records

A long time guerrilla of the global underground idm and breakcore scene, Dev/Null has constantly put out innovative music that has pulled listeners through a metal storm of shredded broken beat debauchery. Featured on several compilations while also putting out numerous 12" releases on multiple highly respected domestic and international labels, Dev/Null's work always aims to break mental limits. Dropping "Lazer Thrash" in 2007 on Cock Rock Disco, Dev/Null delivered some first class audio trauma that shattered enough broken beats and rhythms, every jungle, glitch-hop & electro b-boy on the block was sweating the styles. He also recently released a free net EP for Cock Rock Disco, entitled "Necrobestial Sadobreaks", which saw a bigger metal influence than his previous album, complete with short grind blast style tunes. Working with some high profile musicians in the electronic scene, Dev/Null has built a solid niche of his own and was even given the opportunity to remix grindcore legends Agoraphobic Nosebleed, which was featured on Hydrahead Records. Live Dev/Null unleashes a hypersonic show of technological proficiency, that will have most gear heads aching to bite the skills. There is no resisting the freaked out urge of getting lost in Dev/Null's sonic constructions, this mental madman knows how to work the system and never fails to bring some of the nastiest rhythmic collisions...

Deadly Productions Records | Chase Records | Psycho Pervert

ScreamerClauz was born in a grandma blanket making college [thats where grandmas go to learn how to make blankets for their ungrateful kids who never call, IDIOT!] and when he turned 63 years old he died in a horrible auto wreck that killed millions [cause when ScreamerClauz crashes a car, he doesn't fuck around]. Straight out of the grave, into the mental ward and now on the loose, Screamerclauz is a psychonaut of murderous industrialized hardcore and speedcore. When ScreamerClauz is not busy hacking up bodies and brutal blast beats to put out on his own Deadly Productions Records, he is usually out hunting for new victims to slay for his video creations. While some might boast about loving horror & terror, ScreamerClauz is a genuine article whose works have been labeled "too offensive" for public distribution and have even gotten some of the daring distributors who would carry his work, locked up for selling his material [true story, film @ 11]. A haunting figure with a blood soaked paper bag over his head, ScreamerClauz is a tornado of overdriven beats and bloodcurdling sonic dementia. !*EXPLICIT WARNING*!...this set will include violent and offensive imagery which might not be acceptable for all ages, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

Barcore

The frozen killer mutant bunny that has been ravaging the Pennsylvania party scene since the late 90's [under the Cheomap guise], returns to it's hellhole at Barcore. Watch in awe, as this unholy critter lays down some wickedly evil sorrowful industrial textures that constantly fidget with the broken down tempos of the eerie gloomy mechanized beats. From the sultry sounds of a nostalgic old time cabaret swing sound, to the lavishly decadent rampant fits of speedcore and noise, SweetPeaPod is a twisted vortex of glitched out rhythms, that does not hold back on burning and battering every style of music into his own freaked out mess. A constantly morphing figure of derangement, some might have witnessed the more calloused creations that SweetPeaPod has unleashed as his mirrored and mortal enemy, the Supersuck DJ Cheoki, although this time around SweetPeaPod has come to reclaim his rightful place in his sanctuary of unholy hare ritual of ear wreakage...

Amok has an extensive knowledge and versatile style that stems from menacing stomping freetekno to brooding shredding flashcore. A veteran of the underground, Amok has always been pushing some of most intellectual freeform aggressive styles found in modern music today. Listen in as Amok unlocks the gates and starts us on a journey into the fire den of inequity...

we had Mark N in August, which was right there at the end of the summer and it was on a saturday. it wasn't cold [if anything it was pretty damn hot] and honestly, it hasn't been that cold here in NYC in years. it's actually been a couple of years since we've even gotten snow in winter up here!

:?

seriouly though, you should try to make it out here sometime. road trips and any sort of travels are always fun! or maybe you should move here!

:D

rok! i didn't know you had signed on here...

you know, we live for those moments. so i guess we could just toss this one into the pile!

:P

hehe, no doubt! i think we've basically been surprising ourselves also!

seriously, though...never thought most of what has happen with Barcore would ever happen and we're pretty psyched about what's been happening, cause it's making our upcoming plans even more exciting. we gots LOTS of ideas for upcoming stuff, so peeps just need to keep our channel locked in. there are a bunch of things coming down the pipeline, that we are really working hard to get done and are really stoked to be involved in...

for real. not trying to sound like some lame ass hype man, but hopefully things will just keep getting bigger and better...

just been hard to get most of this stuff done, cause of school, work [or rather, lack there of] and money. although...

!!AS LONG AS ANYONE & EVERYONE COMES OUT TO SUPPORT, WE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING THE NOIZE!!
