Man, hope you don't take any of this badly. I promise it's coming from a fan's point of view.
I don't typically like dubstep at all. That said, your tracks are well-produced and follow the set rules of the genre well.
But with THAT said, this isn't HORSE FORCE. I'm sorry, but you just can't listen to your older stuff, then listen to this and draw any similarities... So my only real complaint is that I wish you would start making the dubstep under a different alias, because every time I see that you have a new release, I keep hoping for the old stuff (which may or may not happen).

there is no "new horse" its just development.
i mean, i can always go back and make breakcore. breakcore to me is pretty easy compared to dubstep. i can crank out a breakcore tune in 24 hours or less, but dubstep tracks take me a week or so. i really dont see what the big deal is with me keeping the same alias and releasing dubstep. i am trying to get my shit to be the dubstep equivalent of my breakcore stuff, but having that kind of barrage of variation is a lot harder when you're building all your sounds from the ground up instead of programming midi into a sampler with random samples in it.
if you listen to my songs, even the breakcore stuff is pretty inconsistent, so "drawing similarities" seems like a waste of time to me.
with my reason 3.0 horse force breakcore stuff, i felt like i was kinda hitting a creative wall anyway and wanted to branch out to another style (and another piece of software), then dubstep came along and i realized that it would be a fun challenge. I've only made two tracks so far, and both of those are really different, so I'd say that i'm still figuring out what can be done with dubstep. if you listen to my first two breakcore tracks (Za Warudo and Zombie Attack) they are PURE SHIT, even for breakcore. i dont even show people those tracks anymore cause they were so bad. if you apply that thinking to dubstep, It might be another track or three before i really get a feel for dubstep.
i guess i understand your guys' frustration, but i dont really know what i can do. I'm not gonna keep doing the same old thing over and over again. it wasnt getting me anything other than a very small online fanbase and something temporary to do on free weekends. I'm out of college now and trying to actually make music into something that supports me, and i frankly cant do that with breakcore.

By all means man, do what you feel like doing. I ran into the same shit when I went from making boring general electronic music to breakcore, so I understand that for sure. People who had become fans of my first project generally disliked A Fisting Mishap, but now AFM has a following so much larger than the original project's... so definitely a good move, and I only hope it works out the same for you.
Like I said, the alias was the only gripe I really have. Music sounds fine to me, despite my dislike for the genre.
